Your analytics choice
We ask before loading Google Analytics or allowing its cookies. Allow and Decline are both available. Your choice is remembered locally; we do not collect analytics about people who decline.
The cookies we use
The essential website cookies and local preferences include:
- A session cookie, which keeps the site working correctly as you move between pages.
- An XSRF-TOKEN cookie, which protects forms against cross-site request forgery.
- Local storage remembers theme and accessibility choices. USER DISK stores user-requested programs, games, music and discoveries separately from analytics.
Optional analytics storage
With consent, Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies, configured to expire after 90 days, to distinguish visits and sessions. Local analytics storage remembers discovered feature categories and session milestones. Google processes analytics data, which may involve international transfers under its applicable data-processing terms. We do not enable advertising, retargeting or cross-site Google signals.
Managing cookies
Use Analytics preferences in the footer to allow or decline analytics. Declining stops collection and removes analytics cookies and local analytics history without erasing USER DISK. You can also delete browser data using browser settings; deleting all site data removes local saves too.
If this changes
We will update this notice when our use of storage changes. Google Analytics is kept separate from the local PICK/OS environment and never receives its user-created content.
